Using Magic3D

This section walks you through a number of step by step instructions which demonstrates how you can create random dot 3D shapes using Magic3D.

Step 1 - Drag and drop your depth picture to the left hand side. A depth picture is a Black and White or Grayscale picture and define the 3D shape you would like to represent.

Step 2 - Select the desired settings.

Step 3 - Press the "Create" button. Perform steps two and three until desired output is achieved.

Step 4 - Using your computer's desktop, drag the created 3D picture from the right hand side to the desired directory. Make sure to select the file format you would like the picture to be before you drag and drop the results.

Hints and Tips

Tip #1 - Random 3D images do not show 3D images, they show 3D shapes. Basic black and white or ramped grayscale source images produce the best results.\
