Using Checksum
This section walks you through a number of step by step instructions which demonstrates how to create a signature file for a number of individual files.
Step 1 - The first step in using Checksum always consists of giving it the source files. This is easily accomplished by a Drag and drop of your files to the panel on the left hand side.
Step 2 - Select the signature algorithm you would like to run, the output file format, and the output file name.
Step 3 - Press the "Signature" button.
Step 4 - Using your computer's desktop, drag the signature files from the right hand side to the desired directory.
Hints and Tips
Tip #1 - If you would like to know what the signature if the files are, just select the TXT format and simply double click on it w/o drag and drop from the application. This will cause a viewer to open and show you the signature(s).
